Carpet remnants & offcuts
Carpet remnants in Wrexham
End-of-roll pieces at our Rhosymedre showroom — the same carpet, a shorter length.

Every time we cut a room, a piece is left on the end of the roll. Those remnants come back to the showroom rather than going in a skip, which means there is nearly always something on the shelf at a friendlier price than ordering new.
Because remnants are whatever happens to be left, stock changes week to week. It is worth calling in at Park Road, Rhosymedre — a few minutes from Wrexham — with your room measurements so we can see what fits.
We can supply a remnant on its own, fit it for you with grippers, underlay and door bars, or bind the edge in our workshop so it becomes a finished rug or runner.
Bedrooms & box rooms
The size most remnants suit best.
Landings & hallways
Short runs where a full roll is overkill.

Smart flooring without the full-roll price.
How we do it
From first call to finished floor
- 1
Measure your room
Jot down the longest and widest points, including any doorway recesses. Remnants are fixed sizes, so accurate numbers save a wasted trip.
- 2
Call in or ring us
Pop into the showroom to see what is currently on the shelf, or ring and tell us the size you need and we will check.
- 3
Choose the piece
We will tell you honestly whether a remnant will cover the room properly, or whether a new cut would work out better.
- 4
Fit, bind or take it away
We can fit it with grippers and underlay, bind the edge into a rug, or you can take the piece with you.
Looking after it
- Bring measurements with you — remnants are sold as they are, so size decides everything.
- Ask about underlay; a good underlay makes a remnant feel like a brand new carpet.
- If a piece is slightly too small for a room, consider binding it into a rug or runner instead.
- Stock moves quickly, so if you see the right piece it is usually worth taking it there and then.
Good to know
Questions we get asked a lot
What is a carpet remnant?
A remnant is a piece left on the end of a roll after a room has been cut. It is the same quality carpet as the full roll, just a shorter length — which is why remnants usually work out cheaper than ordering new.
Do you have carpet remnants in Wrexham?
We keep remnants and offcuts at our Rhosymedre showroom on Park Road, a few minutes from Wrexham. Stock changes constantly as rooms are cut, so it is worth calling or popping in to see what is there.
What size rooms will a remnant cover?
It depends entirely on what is on the shelf at the time. Remnants suit smaller spaces best — bedrooms, box rooms, landings, hallways, caravans, offices and stairs. Bring your measurements and we will tell you straight away whether a piece will work.
Can you fit a remnant for me?
Yes. Remnants can be fitted by our own team in exactly the same way as a new roll, with grippers, underlay and door bars as needed. We can also just supply the piece if you would rather fit it yourself.
Can a remnant be made into a rug?
That is one of the most popular things we do with them. We cut the piece square and bind or whip the edge in our workshop so it becomes a proper finished rug, runner or door mat.
Are remnants cheaper than buying new carpet?
Usually, yes — you are buying an end of roll rather than a fresh cut. Prices depend on the piece, so ask us when you see something you like and we will give you a straight figure.
