Llangollen
Carpets & flooring in Llangollen, fitted by our own team
A short run down the Dee valley from our Rhosymedre showroom — free measure, free gripper rods and free door bars.

Llangollen has a lot of older stone-built and Victorian housing, which usually means uneven floorboards, deep skirtings and staircases that are anything but square. We measure those properly rather than guessing, and allow for the levelling or plywood a hard floor needs before it goes down.
Because we are only down the valley it is easy for us to call in, measure and drop samples back, so you can look at colours in the room they are going in rather than under showroom lights.
Holiday lets and B&Bs around the town need flooring that turns around fast and stands up to constant use — tell us the changeover date and we will work to it.

Fitted by our own team
Our own fitters lift the old flooring, fit the new one and include gripper rods and door bars, leaving everything tidy.
Looking after it
- Vacuum regularly — most wear is caused by grit working its way into the base of the pile, not by footsteps.
- Blot spills straight away with a clean cloth; never rub, as that pushes the stain into the backing.
- Use a barrier mat at external doors to catch the worst of the dirt before it reaches the floor.
- Turn or move furniture occasionally so the pile does not flatten permanently in one spot.
- On hard floors use a barely damp mop rather than soaking the surface, and fit felt pads to furniture legs.
- A professional clean every couple of years keeps the colour lifted and extends the life of a carpet.
Good to know
Questions we get asked a lot
Do you charge for the estimate or the visit?
No. The measure and the written estimate are free, whether you come to the showroom or we come to you.
What is actually included in the price?
Your flooring, the underlay you choose, fitting by our own team, free gripper rods and free door bars. The estimate we give you is the price you pay.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes, our fitters will move normal furniture for you. We just ask that you empty wardrobes, drawers and any breakables beforehand.
Will you take the old flooring away?
We can lift and remove your old flooring and underlay as part of the job — just mention it when we measure up so it is included in the estimate.
How long does fitting take?
A typical room takes a couple of hours and most whole-house jobs are finished in a day or two. Stairs take longer than they look, particularly with winders or a runner and rods.
Can I see everything before I commit?
Yes. Come into the Rhosymedre showroom to see full-size samples, or ask us to bring a selection to the house so you can judge colours at home.
